On 4 March 2026 from 12.30 to 4.00 pm, students were given the opportunity to attend the ECS Fair 2026, an event designed to help students explore their options after graduation. The fair brought together university representatives, industry partners, and government agencies to provide students with valuable insights into higher education, scholarships and potential career pathways.

Throughout the afternoon, students had the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from various universities. These conversations allowed them to learn more about different courses, admission requirements, and areas of study. For many students who are still considering their future directions, the fair served as a useful platform to ask questions and gain clarity about possible academic pathways.

In addition to university booths, many industry partners and government agencies, such as in finance, construction, education and research, were present to share information about careers and scholarship opportunities. Students were able to better understand the skills and qualifications required in different professions, as well as the opportunities available to them in the future, helping bridge the gap between academic studies and their pursuits after graduation.

A highlight of the event was the panel discussion titled “AI and the World of Work: How to Stay Relevant in a Changing Future.” The discussion explored how advancements in artificial intelligence are transforming industries and changing the skills that future workers will need. Panellists shared their perspectives on adapting to technological change and emphasised the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in the modern, digitalised workforce.

To help students make the most of the experience, the school also provided a worksheet and a venue floor plan through the ECG website. These resources encouraged students to engage meaningfully with the representatives and reflect on the information they gathered so as to make the most out of this opportunity.

Overall, the ECS Fair 2026 provided a valuable avenue for students to explore their interests, discover potential career paths, and begin planning for life after school. By connecting students with universities and industry professionals, it played an important role in helping them take their first steps towards their future aspirations.
