On 28 July 2023, Hwa Chong brought back its Combined Sports Meet after a four-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 epidemic. Students from Hwa Chong Institution, Nanyang Girls’ High School and Hwa Chong International School participated actively in a series of engaging activities. Parent volunteers, staff and students relished in the exuberant atmosphere where Hwa Chong came to life, united as one.

The day started off with a lively performance by the High School lion dance troupe. At the High School section, students engaged themselves in a multitude of festivities, such as track and sporting events, carnival games and food booths, while some other students showcased their community outreach efforts through compelling service learning booths that featured their projects. Many students also flocked to the dance booth to dance and sing.

Over at the College section, students participated in activities hosted by various Co-Curricular Activities, diversifying their experiences and forging new friendships as a Hwa Chong family. They exchanged valuable experiences with other students, and explored an array of activities.

The 2023 Combined Sports Meet was a massive success, as the three schools came together to create lasting memories for all students. We extend our gratitude towards all the staff, parents and students who made this event possible.
