On 31 March, the Central Plaza came alive with laughter, colour, and energy as students gathered from 4 to 6 pm to celebrate Friendship Day.

Bringing together the four faculties, the event was a vibrant showcase of community spirit, creativity, and connection. A key highlight of the celebration was the array of hands-on activities thoughtfully organised by the four faculty committees. Each booth offered something unique, encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones and bond with both old friends and new faces. From interactive craft stations to engaging mini-games, participants were able to create keepsakes while immersing themselves in meaningful shared experiences.

Beyond the booths, the Central Plaza also transformed into a lively stage for student performances. Talented performers took the spotlight, delivering a mix of music, dance, and entertaining acts that kept the crowd energised throughout the afternoon. The performances added a celebratory rhythm to the event, drawing cheers and applause while showcasing the diverse talents within the student body.

More than just an afternoon of fun, Friendship Day served as a reminder of the importance of community and belonging. Whether it was through laughter shared over a game, encouragement during a performance, or simple conversations between activities, the event fostered a sense of unity across faculties.

Indeed, it was an “OWL🦉-mazing” time - one where friendships were strengthened, new memories were created, and the spirit of togetherness truly shone.
