Newly Elected Students' Council Take the Helm

On 15 May 2025, the Hwa Chong Students’ Council Investiture was held to mark the conclusion of the tenure of the 51st Students’ Council and of the start of the 52nd. The event was attended by parents, visitors, and JC1 students, with the Guest of Honour, Ms Charmaine Chua, gracing the occasion.

The ceremony began with speeches in recognition of the dedication and hard work of the 51st Students’ Council, who had served the school community tirelessly throughout the past year through various initiatives and events.

Following this, the 52nd Students’ Council was officially inaugurated, with the new councillors taking their oaths. In her address to the incoming batch of councillors, Ms Chua encouraged them to lead with integrity, empathy and a strong sense of service.

The ceremony concluded on an optimistic note as both councils expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and reaffirmed their commitment to the school and the student body.
