On 29 July 2026, the High School CCA Council held its annual Handover-Takeover Ceremony, marking the conclusion of the 2025/2026 term and the beginning of a new chapter for the incoming student leaders. As the outgoing CCA Council Chairman, I was honoured to help organise the event and formally pass on my role to the next generation of CCA leaders.

When I first became Chairman, I was uncertain about what to expect and made several mistakes along the way. However, with the constant support of my teachers, seniors and friends, I gradually developed a deeper understanding of leadership and of the important role that CCAs play in the Hwa Chong experience.
As my term draws to a close, I would like to express my gratitude to both the outgoing and incoming CCA Councils, as well as to the teachers who guided us throughout this journey.
To the outgoing CCA Council, thank you for your unwavering support, dedication and leadership over the past year. Through your service, you have shown us the true meaning of the Hwa Chong CCA Spirit.
To the incoming CCA Council, congratulations on stepping into your new roles. I hope that you will continue to strengthen the CCA Spirit and create meaningful and memorable experiences for all students.
Finally, I would like to thank Mr Kelvin Lim, Mr Melvin Goh and Mr David Woon for their guidance, encouragement and dedication. Their support made this journey possible.
As one term ends and another begins, I leave with gratitude for all that I have learnt and confidence that the incoming Council will carry the torch forward.
